An extraordinary experience
Casa Sponge is first of all an artist-run space and the residence of an artist. It is one of the Contemporary Art Venues endorsed by the Italian Ministry of Culture. Born in 2007, it is a place where to meditate, study and rest. A house devoted to contemporary art and open to the voyageur.

Casa Sponge is located near the tiny hamlet of Mezzanotte, really close to the town of Pergola, surrounded by oak trees and cultivated fields from which you can look at the Catria-Nerone massif.
It is a country house, dating back to the 19th century where every corner of the house frame pieces of contemporary art by national and international artists.

Take a look at Casa Sponge
Casa Sponge is divided into two floors and can accommodate guests in three double bedrooms. Each room is different and all are enriched by contemporary art objects left by selected artists. The Wunderkammer, the kitchen and the living room are on the ground floor. Giovanni Gaggia’s studio is located on the first floor.
Casa Sponge can be visited by appointment all year round.
